MOTA MEXICANA

The inspiration behind the name Mota Mexicana was born from memories. For most of us, the first time we tried weed, it was Mexican weed—that first trip to Mexico on spring break, on the streets, at parties, with your primos, or even your mom’s bottle of alcohol with marijuana in it pa’ las reumas. Everything came from Mexico, just like tortillas, elotes, and our beautiful people.

The sunglasses in this design are inspired by the Mexican saying: “Lente obscuro, mariguano seguro.” The mustache gives a nod to the ‘80s. The nose, chin, and beard are a homage to our ancestors who built what we call nuestro México.
